Read before your next round of Air Hockey
Take a moment with Air Hockey before moving to another game. Score seven goals before the computer. Use the example below to understand a decision. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.
Move your paddle against a computer opponent and score through the opposite goal.
Take a closer look while playing
Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Make the next step deliberately.
Your objective
Score seven goals before the computer. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Review the board or playing area as it changes.
Making your moves
- Start.
- Move your mallet within the lower half.
- Strike toward the upper goal.
- Goals reset the puck.
Keyboard and screen controls
Mouse/touch movement or Left/Right controls. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.
One way to understand the rules
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Look for the relevant detail.
Where a round can go wrong
You cannot move into the computer’s half. Check the rule before repeating the action. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
